But somewhere, something went wrong.
First of all, profanity is a large issue. What happened to kindness? Was it washed away once people got to the age of thirteen? The language people use on Habbo is abhorrent, and I don't mean French.
"Mind your P's and Q's", as the old proverb states. It seems it was lost, as with the old Habbo...
Too many updates ruined a site which was once popular with millions of teenagers worldwide. After asking an anonymous Habbo.com user about what he thought of new Habbo, he said:
"Habbo's lost it's way. After the merge [a common term referring to when all of the national Habbos created one, huge Habbo website, Habbo.com] Habbo became rubbish. The staff changed, we lost some amazing games and it became difficult to navigate."
Moreover, users have to spend a lot of money to buy Habbo credits, which is spent on useless furniture. That's if it's not scammed from you by another greedy user, which the moderators then turn a blind eye to.
They claim to care, but half of them are racists. Have you seen some Youtube videos that angry users have posted? Kicked by a moderator "For Being Black". This isn't National Security, it's Habbo, moderators!
What's happened, Habbo? You'd better listen to your users or you'll lose a lot of them!
